Youth in Business

The “Youth in Business” project is the first project implemented by No Gordio and INPRO, after other previously successful collaborations implemented in 2018 and 2019.

The project was attended by participants from Poland, Portugal, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Hungary, Italy and Slovakia.

The project provided for the implementation of two activities in Poland and Portugal. The training took place in Rzeszów – Poland, on December 15-21, 2019, followed by a study visit in Porto – Portugal, on February 3-7, 2020. Both mobilities focused particularly on entrepreneurship, remote areas and the development of the social and circular economy. Activities also referred to such topics as discrimination among young people starting a business, types of grants and skills needed to establish a company that a young person needs.

The participants were youth workers who wanted to improve their basic knowledge of entrepreneurship to be more aware of their role in stimulating private initiatives among the youth they work with.

During the training, youth workers had the opportunity to reflect on the importance of having entrepreneurial skills when they participate in the educational process of youth, as well as how useful these skills are in everyday life.
