Education For Youth Participation

2016: International Projects’ Association INPRO ran its first EVS project “Education for youth Participation”.

In 2016, we embarked on an inspiring journey by launching our first European Voluntary Service (EVS) project titled Education for Youth Participation. The main goal of this initiative was to help young people develop the skills they need to become active and valuable members of their communities.

Throughout the project, our volunteers had the unique opportunity to take part in various events and activities, as well as create their own initiatives in collaboration with local youth. This exchange became more than just an educational experience – it was a platform for promoting diversity, understanding, and tolerance. The volunteers played a key role in engaging young people in activities at the Rzeszów Cultural Incubator, where INPRO is based. They inspired the local youth to get involved, experience other cultures, and explore volunteering as a means of personal and communal growth.

Since June 2016, we were delighted to welcome two remarkable EVS volunteers who brought fresh energy and a new perspective to our team.

Welcome Elsa & Lily

Our Volunteers: Elsa and Aurélie

Aurélie Saint-Prix, from the French island of Guadeloupe, worked in a recruitment agency in Paris before coming to Poland. She was immediately drawn to INPRO’s projects due to her interest in meeting new people and learning about different cultures. After completing her EVS experience, Aurélie returned to Guadeloupe, where she founded her own NGO, the Organization for Empowerment and Non-Formal Education.

Elsa Daniels, who grew up in Honduras, had been living and studying in Taiwan for the past eight years. She was particularly drawn to INPRO’s mission of community development and non-formal education. After completing her EVS experience, Elsa decided to stay in Poland and continue working with INPRO, helping to expand its international network and collaborating with new volunteers on local projects.

Our work didn’t stop at the end of this project. We continue to empower young people, build bridges between cultures, and show that collaboration and openness are the keys to a brighter future.
