Erasmus+, Vocational Education and Training (VET)

Accounting and Finance Management VET group in Rzeszów, Poland

In October 2022, a group of 18 Hungarian students from Veszprémi SZC Bethlen István Közgazdasági és Közigazgatási Technikum participated in a vocational education and training (VET) program at INPRO, that focused on finance and management. The program was conducted by long-term volunteers and utilized Revas, a business simulation game developed in Rzeszów, Poland.

The VET program aimed to enhance students’ understanding of finance and management concepts through practical exercises and real-world scenarios. The participants actively engaged in the daily activities, demonstrating their enthusiasm for the subject matter despite its complexity.

The VET program also provided opportunities for cultural exchange and interaction with individuals from diverse backgrounds during our Open Cafe event. They gained insights into Polish culture and had the chance to connect with students from other countries and locals living in Rzeszów.

Together with the VET students, we had a chance to visit the beautiful castle in Łańcut. Also, had a tour at Rzeszowskie Piwnice, where our Hungarian students learned more about the history of the Podkarpackie region and Rzeszów in general.

This wasn’t even all! In the afternoons, the participants had an opportunity to stay at the INPRO training room and have engaging workshops with the long-term volunteers. These workshops had an impactful effect on their English language skills.

The VET program showcased the potential of non-formal education in fostering personal growth and equipping students with valuable skills for their future endeavours. The project was financed by the Erasmus+ program.
