TIME’S UP! TEAM UP!

Time’s Up! Team Up! was a volunteering project that took place in 2021 in Rzeszów. It involved 48 young people from diverse backgrounds, especially those with fewer opportunities. The project was divided into three groups of 16 volunteers, each participating in a 7-week activity cycle in spring, summer, and autumn.

The project provided a structured educational experience that combined learning with practical contribution. Volunteers were involved in ongoing activities, supporting local projects and events, and they also had space to implement their own ideas. They worked with multimedia – creating videos, promotional materials, and organizing educational campaigns. Depending on their interests and ongoing opportunities, they led workshops, organized events, or realized their own initiatives.

Each phase of the project concluded with major events: the Time to Move festivals in spring and autumn, and an intercultural picnic in the summer. The volunteers also participated in a series of job-related training sessions, such as photography, event management, facilitation basics, and youth opportunities. Additionally, they took part in personal development workshops with a psychologist, who helped them reflect on their learning process.

Due to the epidemiological situation, some activities were adjusted to fit the current restrictions, but the project still provided valuable and transformative experiences for the participants.

During the project, the volunteers were provided with accommodation, pocket money, and reimbursement for travel costs up to a certain limit. The project was funded by the European Solidarity Corps program.
