A Sweet Taste of Success: VET Tourism Group at INPRO
A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of welcoming a great group of students to Rzeszów. The group of 16 students, who are still learning hospitality and tourism, joined us to get some practical experience and explore the local culture. Their time here wasn’t just about learning; it was about working hard, having fun, and building valuable skills.
Vocational Practice at Capella Restaurant in Rzeszów
The group spent their time gaining hands-on experience at Capella Restaurant in Rzeszów. They worked alongside the restaurant’s kitchen staff, waiters, and chefs, helping with tasks like preparing food, serving guests, and assisting with maintenance. Whether it was setting tables, clearing plates, or helping behind the bar, they were always busy contributing. Their hard work and willingness to learn made sure things run smoothly and guests had a great experience.
Fun and Games at INPRO
We also organised some fun activities at INPRO. These weren’t related to their work but helped the group bond and take a break from their tasks. It was great to see them relaxed, playing games, and making lasting memories together.
Exploring History and Culture
The group also visited two important historical sites: the Memorial and Museum Auschwitz-Birkenau, and the Rzeszów Underground Museum. The visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau left a strong impression on the students. Even though the weather was chilly, the experience was moving and gave them a deeper understanding of history. They also enjoyed exploring the Rzeszów Underground Museum and learning about the city’s past.
A Memorable Experience
Combining their work, cultural exploration, and activities made this a really impactful experience. The students left with new skills, stronger friendships, and plenty of great memories.
It was a pleasure hosting this motivated group. We wish them all the best in their future journeys and hope to cross paths again soon!
