Shaping Future Leaders: A Study Visit of Youth Initiatives in Rzeszów
Last week, we had the honor of hosting an inspiring Erasmus+ study visit, “Shaping Future Leaders: A Study Tour of Youth Initiatives in Rzeszów.” It was a week filled with learning, connection, and discovery as participants from across Europe came together to exchange ideas, explore our city, and grow—both personally and professionally.

Discovering Rzeszów and Its Culture
Rzeszów served as the perfect backdrop for this international gathering. From its charming old town to cultural gems like the magnificent Łańcut Castle, every step through the city was an opportunity to experience the rich heritage of our region. These moments weren’t just about ticking off landmarks—they became shared experiences that sparked meaningful conversations and strengthened connections.

Workshops, Creativity, and Collaboration
At the heart of the visit were our workshops and interactive sessions. Together, we dove into themes such as youth work, storytelling, and creative problem-solving—approaching them in fun, practical, and innovative ways. Highlights included insightful visits to Space4Youth and the Podkarpackie Centre of Innovation, where we witnessed how creativity and community-driven ideas are transforming lives in the region.
Of course, learning didn’t stop when the sessions ended. Our Open Café event at Urban Lab created a relaxed, informal space for reflection, storytelling, and simply enjoying each other’s company. These unstructured moments often brought some of the most memorable insights.

Sharing Experiences and Finding Inspiration
Perhaps the most impactful part of the week was the sharing of personal experiences. Whether during a workshop or over a cup of coffee, participants opened up about their journeys, challenges, and hopes for the future. These stories inspired all of us, reminding us of the common threads that connect us, regardless of where we come from.

Looking Back and Moving Forward
As our time together came to an end, we took a moment to reflect on everything we’d learned and the friendships we’d formed. We also looked to the future, discussing ways to stay connected, collaborate on new projects, and bring fresh ideas back to our own communities. The goodbyes were bittersweet but filled with excitement for what lies ahead.
This study visit reminded us of something powerful: that when people come together with open minds and shared purpose, amazing things can happen.
To everyone who was part of this journey—thank you. We’re so grateful for the energy, wisdom, and heart you brought to Rzeszów.
