Discovering VET: Hungarian IT Students at INPRO, March 2023
In March, INPRO, INPRO hosted a group of students from VSZC Ipari Technikum, from Veszprém, Hungary for a two-week Vocational Education and Training (VET) program. VET programs are designed to provide students with the training and knowledge necessary to develop specific occupational skills.
The participants had the opportunity to work in the Urban Lab on a daily basis, where they had access to the necessary equipment for creating a website from the scratch In the afternoons, the students attended workshops at INPRO to improve their language skills with the help of our long-term volunteers.





During their stay, the students also had several cultural and study visits. One of the highlights of their trip was a visit to Łańcut castle, a magnificent structure that dates back to the 17th century. They also went on a cultural visit to Rzeszowskie Piwnice, where they learned about the history of Rzeszów. The students had a study visit to PCI, Podkarpackie Centrum Innowacji, where they studied the new technologies used in Podkarpackie voivodeship to teach the students of the area.

In addition to their cultural activities, the students worked together with INPRO. They have built a website about thermal baths in every area of Hungary. This project allowed them to apply the skills and knowledge they had acquired during their training, and to work collaboratively on their project.
The VET program at INPRO is designed to provide students with practical training that prepares them for success in the workforce. Through hands-on learning experiences, students gain the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in their chosen field.
