Monday Stories: My Own Experience

Hello! My name is Torben, I’m from Germany and am currently living and working in Rzeszów, Poland as a volunteer at INPRO. We have many different events that we are conducting, but there is a single one I want to tell you about Monday Stories!

What are Monday Stories?

Monday Stories is a weekly event held every Monday at 6 PM at Urban Lab in Rzeszów. Each week, we welcome guest speakers from different countries who share fascinating insights and practical tips about their home countries in an engaging way—and they’re also there to answer all your questions!

Monday Stories is an open event, welcoming everyone. It’s not only an enjoyable way to learn about diverse cultures and nationalities but also a great opportunity to connect with people from various backgrounds.

How did my Monday Story go?

Presenting about Germany was a very interesting experience for me. Not only was it my first time giving this presentation, but it was also the first Monday Stories event with the new volunteers.

It’s okay to feel nervous as long as you’re prepared! Thankfully, I was ready—I presented confidently and answered every question from the audience.
