Who am I?

Hi! I’m Torben, and I come from a tiny village in Germany called Beilstein. Right now, I’m volunteering at INPRO in Rzeszow as part of the European Solidarity Corps. I just graduated from school this March, where I majored in German. I’m really looking forward to meeting you and helping you sharpen your German skills!

When are the workshops going to take place?

The workshop takes place every Thursday from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM. These hours are specifically chosen to accommodate high school students, so you can join us right after your school lectures. However, the workshops are open to anyone who speaks German and is interested in networking and developing their language skills.

Where will they take place?

We meet at the Międzynarodowe Centrum Integracji Feniks, at 3 Maja st in Rzeszów. Feniks is a hub for cultural integration and education, located in the heart of Rzeszow. It’s known for hosting various workshops, events, and activities aimed at fostering community connections and cultural exchange. For more information, visit their website: https://feniks.erzeszow.pl/

What can you expect from the German Workshop?

The German Workshop is designed for those who already speak German. It’s not a beginners’ course, but rather a place to practice and refine your existing language skills through engaging conversations, interactive activities, and group discussions. You’ll also have the chance to learn more about German customs, traditions, and historical events, all while connecting with others who share your passion for the language. Whether you’re a high school student or an adult, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to network and grow your German proficiency in a supportive environment.

What should you bring?

For the first session, you don’t need to bring any materials. However, feel free to bring a pen and paper if you’d like to take notes. As we move forward, you may want to bring along any German texts or materials you’re interested in discussing.

How can you sign up for the German Workshop?

Just fill out the Google form, and we’ll get back to you with more details! The workshops are open and free for everyone.
