Poland had been on my bucket list for some time. I didn’t know a lot of things about this country, which is just next to Germany, some hours by train away from my hometown.
Before arriving in Poland, I had absolutely no expectations. And yet, this experience turned out to be more than I could have imagined.
You get off the plane. Welcome to Poland. From now on, everything will be new. And honestly? There is something magical about that.
You land in a country you know almost nothing about, with no language skills, no familiar faces, no map in your head. And then, slowly, those streets start to feel like home.
