Breaking Stereotypes, Erasmus+, Youth Exchanges

Zoom in, Zoom out

Picture this – a group of young people from Poland, Hungary, Ukraine, and Slovakia coming together for an exciting youth exchange in Rzeszow! From April 3rd to April 7th, they participated in the “Zoom in, Zoom out” program in INPRO, where they got to explore photography and embark on important social issues.

This wasn’t a typical classroom experience for sure:) Instead, these young folks engaged in tons of fun and creative activities, workshops, and cultural evenings where they learned about each other’s cultures and even got to taste some yummy snacks from all four countries. They even went on a cultural visit to Rzeszowskie Piwnice to explore the city’s history.

The best part of the program was the photography workshops, where participants let their creativity run wild and took pictures of important social issues that young people face today. They then printed out their photos and displayed them at the Podkarpackie Innovation Center in a cool photo vernissage.

The “Zoom in, Zoom out” youth exchange was a major hit, and the young people achieved their goal of breaking stereotypes and making new friends from different countries. The project had a huge educational impact, allowing participants to learn about new cultures, perspectives, and social issues while having a blast.

The energy and positivity of this youth exchange were off the charts. The participants left the program feeling empowered, inspired, and more confident to tackle social issues in their own communities. The “Zoom in, Zoom out” youth exchange proved that learning can be fun, engaging, and rewarding when done through non-formal activities.

In conclusion, the “Zoom in, Zoom out” youth exchange was an unforgettable experience that demonstrated the power of youth exchange programs to bring people together, promote intercultural understanding, and create lifelong friendships.

We want to thank our partners and the team leaders for supporting us during the exchange! You’ve done a really good job 🙂
