Some students sat at their computers, refining lines of code. Others experimented with robotics and chemistry, testing how theory works in practice. This was the daily rhythm for a group of students from Veszprémi Szakképzési Centrum Ipari Technikum, who came to Rzeszów in March 2023 as part of an Erasmus+ VET programme.
The programme was divided into two tracks. In Urban Lab Rzeszów, students worked on building a website based on WordPress — a project created entirely by the participants from scratch. They developed the structure of the site, prepared content and worked on its functionality, learning tools they may use in their future careers.
At the same time, another group spent their days at the Podkarpackie Science Centre “Łukasiewicz”, exploring topics related to chemistry and robotics. These sessions showed how different areas of science can connect with each other — from hands-on experiments to technological applications.
After a day of work, the afternoons offered something different. Language workshops, games and group activities provided a chance to relax while practising English in a natural setting. There was also time to discover the region — we visited the Rzeszów Underground and the Łańcut Castle.
The two weeks passed quickly. What remained was a website created by the students, new experiences and many memories from their time in Rzeszów.
