Discipline, Responsibility and Practical Skills

Precision, focus and responsibility — these were some of the key elements that shaped the experience of ten students from Kisvárdai SZC Csengeri Ady Endre Technikum és Kollégium in Hungary during their Erasmus+ VET stay in Rzeszów.

The programme was designed for students interested in public administration and civil service. Instead of focusing only on theoretical knowledge, the activities concentrated on practical skills that are important in many professions connected with public service and safety.

A significant part of the programme took place in cooperation with Związek Strzelecki “Strzelec”, where the students participated in specially prepared training sessions. During these activities they learned about discipline and teamwork, took part in shooting practice and discussed the importance of responsibility and precision when handling equipment. Another important element of the programme was first aid training, where participants practised basic life-saving techniques.

Outside the training sessions, there was also time for group activities and informal workshops. These meetings created space for conversations in English, sharing experiences and getting to know each other in an international environment.

For many participants, this was their first opportunity to take part in such an international educational experience. Their stay in Rzeszów allowed them not only to develop practical skills but also to discover how much learning can happen outside the classroom — through cooperation, real-life situations and meeting people from different countries.

The project was funded by the Erasmus+ Programme.
