You(th) and Business 2.0 was the second edition of an international project focused on strengthening entrepreneurial competences among youth workers and encouraging them to inspire young people to take initiative. Implemented in Poland and Finland, the project provided an opportunity for youth workers to expand their understanding of entrepreneurship and explore how these skills can be transferred to the young people they work with.
The project gathered participants from Poland, Finland, Portugal, Italy, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Greece, Spain, and Romania, creating a diverse international group of youth workers eager to develop their knowledge and exchange experiences. Through intercultural cooperation and shared learning, participants were able to explore different approaches to supporting youth entrepreneurship across Europe.
The main training course took place in Poland in August 2019, where participants engaged in interactive workshops, discussions, and group activities focused on the fundamentals of entrepreneurship. During the training, youth workers explored topics such as creativity, initiative, problem-solving, and the role of entrepreneurship in youth development. The activities were designed to help them better understand how they can encourage young people to develop their own ideas and turn them into concrete initiatives.
The project continued with a study visit in Finland in September 2019, which allowed participants to experience a different perspective on entrepreneurship and education. During the visit, they had the opportunity to observe how entrepreneurial thinking is integrated into educational systems and local initiatives. Meetings with local stakeholders and organisations provided valuable insights into how communities can support young people in developing entrepreneurial competences.
By combining practical training with international exchange and real-life examples, You(th) and Business 2.0 helped youth workers strengthen their ability to promote entrepreneurship among young people. The project also created new partnerships and connections between organisations across Europe, laying the foundation for future cooperation and initiatives that support youth empowerment and innovation.
