What happens when motivated young people from across Europe meet in one place for five days? Ideas spark. Perspectives shift. And new collaborations begin.
In February 2025, Rzeszów became a meeting point for emerging youth leaders during the networking seminar “Europe Unlocked: Connecting Young Leaders.” Organised by INPRO, the event brought together young activists, youth workers, and community-minded participants who share one common goal, creating positive change in their communities.
Day One: Breaking the Ice
The first day was all about connection. Participants arrived from different countries, bringing with them unique experiences, ideas, and cultural backgrounds. Through interactive activities and team challenges, strangers quickly became teammates.
By the end of the day, something important had already happened — the group had transformed into a community.
Sharing Stories, Sharing Ideas
Over the following days, participants explored what it really means to be a young leader in today’s Europe.
What challenges do young people face in different countries?
How can youth initiatives create real social impact?
And how do we turn ideas into actions?
Through workshops, discussions, and group work, participants shared their own experiences from youth projects, NGOs, and community initiatives. The room quickly filled with stories, inspiration, and practical solutions.
From Networking to Collaboration
This seminar wasn’t just about meeting new people — it was about building future partnerships.
Participants worked in international teams to brainstorm ideas for future collaborations and explore how organisations from different countries can work together. New project ideas were born, contacts were exchanged, and the seeds for future Erasmus+ initiatives were planted.
Because sometimes all it takes is the right conversation at the right moment to start something meaningful.
Beyond the Workshops
Of course, learning didn’t only happen in meeting rooms.
Participants also had the chance to explore Rzeszów, discover local culture, and spend time getting to know each other outside of the formal program. These informal moments, shared meals, evening conversations, and spontaneous laughter, often turned out to be the most memorable part of the experience.
Unlocking Europe Together
By the end of the five-day seminar, participants had built strong connections, exchanged ideas for future initiatives, and expanded their understanding of youth leadership across Europe. The event highlighted how powerful international cooperation can be in inspiring new projects and supporting young people who want to make a positive difference. One thing was clear: Europe isn’t just a place on a map.
The seminar “Europe Unlocked: Connecting Young Leaders” showed how powerful it can be when young people come together, share their experiences, and start building something bigger than themselves.
Because the future of Europe isn’t written somewhere far away. It’s being created by young leaders who are ready to unlock new possibilities.
The networking seminar was supported by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, which continues to create opportunities for young people to learn, connect, and grow together across Europe.
