Youth in Tune

Youth in Tune

Between the 2nd and 9th of December 2017, the “Youth in Tune” project brought together 27 young people from 5 different countries to Rzeszow, Poland. During this time participants were challenged with creating a production crew, including a music band, a scenography team and a video and IT processing team.

They even created a small makeshift photo studio as well! Throughout the week, participants visited the Polski Radio station, had workshops on photography and video making, and of course, they also learned how to best work with each other, clarify misunderstandings, share skills and enjoy each other’s company. This youth exchange also helped participants to become more aware of about the benefits of participating in international projects and also encouraged them to develop their own activities. We hope they will continue to be socially active and remember that they are “not alone”.

Below is a link to the video and song that was produced during the youth exchange. It is free for viewing and downloading. We hope it will used as an educational tool for youth involved in community activities, and a source of inspiration for other youth’s future work.

We also invite you to take a look at our photo album.

Finally, we would like to thank all the organisations involved in the project, namely Stowarzyszenie Projektów Międzynarodowych INPRO (Poland), Agrupamento de Escolas de VILELA (Portugal), Socialas inovacijas centrs (Latvia), KÖZ-Pont Ifjúsági Egyesület (Hungary) and Bulgarian Youth Forum (Bulgaria). We would also like to thank Rał – fotografia & film, Estrada Rzeszowska, Rzeszowski Inkubator Kultury – RIK, Studio Dźwięków Pogranicza, Zespół Szkół Muzycznych nr 1 in Rzeszow and BigBit Studio for their help in realising the project and especially for mentoring participants during the exchange.

The project was realised with the support of the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union.
