Who are we?

Who are we?

INPRO was established in 2014 in Rzeszow, the capital city of Podkarpackie Region in South-East Poland. It was funded by a group of international friends whose paths crossed during the implementation of shared initiatives. After being involved in activities in the third sector as well as being experienced as volunteers, coordinators of projects and managers of an organization, they finally decided to found their own association.

The mission of the organization is to make people believe that international initiatives bring added value and progress to the development of a community. INPRO initiatives are generally dedicated to the personal development and education of young people. However, with its offer, INPRO also reaches people from other cultures, regardless of their origin, age or views.

In Poland, INPRO is considered one of the biggest beneficiaries of the Erasmus Plus (Youth Sector) and the European Solidarity Corps programme. Also, the organization has been a partner in over 60 Erasmus Plus, such as KA1 youth exchanges, training courses as well as KA2 strategic partnership projects. In 2021 the organization received the Erasmus accreditation in the field of youth as well as the Quality Level within the European Solidarity Corps, both for the period of 2021-2027, which proves high-quality projects as well as guarantee regular funding for youth mobility programmes. INPRO is also a member of the Eurodesk network and is specialized in providing youth information.

At present, INPRO employs 4 full-time and 3 part-time employees. The organization is also widely cooperating with a network of trainers and facilitators involved in ongoing projects. Also, it regularly hosts short-term and long-term volunteers within the European Solidarity Corps program.

Every year, the organization finances and involves between 65-80 European volunteers as well as provides international mobility programs for 350-500 youth and youth workers. They take part in INPRO’s youth exchanges, training courses, and vocational traineeship programmes, hosting them in Rzeszów.

INPRO is strongly present locally. In Rzeszow and the Podkarpackie area, the organization implements 4 youth information festivals a year as well as organizes tens of local social events such as Open Cafe, school visits, takes part in job or NGO fairs.

INPRO runs its activities in its own facility located on the first floor of the west wing of the main train station in Rzeszow. The organization owns a multifunctional space of 350 m2 with a training room, 5 offices and the hostel. The hostel has 7 rooms for a maximum of 24 guests in total. There are common showers (separate for women and men), equipped kitchen as well as free Wi-Fi.
