International Training Courses
The main aim for Training Courses is to support the professional development of youth workers trough training or networking periods abroad. The activities throughout the Training Course are arranged by the organizations that are participating in the project, and can involve activities such as attending seminars, contact-making events or study visits. A Training Course is often free of charge to attend for the participant, as the EU covers travel costs, as well as practical and activity-related costs.
An example of a Training Course that INPRO has arranged and carried out is ‘The Overseas Highway’. From the 16th to the 29th of July, 2018 this Training Course brought together 20 youth workers from Poland and Guadeloupe to learn about formal, non-formal and informal education, how to write an Erasmus+ youth project and what it is like to facilitate workshops for youth. Through INPRO’s guidance, the participants received important tips and tricks for writing an effective project application.
Participants who take part in these projects are youth workers active in our association. These are mentors, volunteers, employees and members. Sometimes we also invite the representatives of our local partners. Taking part in such initiatives is one of the advantages which comes when you get involved in our organization.
