Time’s up! Team up! – the second volunteering team

Dorota from Poland

Hello, my name is Dorota, I’m from Poland. I am motivated and open to new challenges which are waiting for me in this project “Time’s up! Team up!” Before I had the opportunity to be a mentor in the INPRO association where I could meet new people, help volunteers, participate in events and meetings. During my studies (I have a bachelor’s degree of international business) I was in Program BUDDY where I could support students in new student reality, for example: helping them to create a bank account, insurance, also showing university and the city. I decided to be a volunteer in this project because I’d like to be more involved in activities, developing myself, improving my skills, creating events, and having opportunities to help others.

I really love dancing (especially bachata), walking, exploring new places, swimming, traveling, and meeting new people around the world. 🙂

Chiara from France

My name is Chiara, I’m 22 years old and I am half French and half Malaysian. I have a bachelor’s degree in French and English literature, which intensified my interest in different cultures and languages.

My passions are writing, music, and drawing; it helped me throughout my whole life to express myself in many different ways. Also, I love to travel and discover new places, especially in nature.

I am quite an open, understanding, and empathetic person, and I always want to progress to be a better person.

I feel that volunteering is a rich and unique experience, as we get to meet new people, learn about new cultures, be more open about change, and be sensitive to important issues. It is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Lucía Álvarez from Spain

My name is Lucia, I am 25 years old and I am from Spain. I was born in Cangas del Narcea, a beautiful town in the north of Spain.

I have a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and next year I am going to start a master´s degree to be a science teacher. I am an open mind, dynamic and optimistic person who loves to enjoy time with her friends and family. My favorite hobbies are doing sports in nature and reading books.

“Time´s up! Team up!” gave me such an opportunity to know new cultures, new friends and new languages. I strongly believe that this project is a great experience that I will never forget.

Muhammad from Pakistan

I am Muhammad Hasnain Meer and I am 22 years old, from the northern part of Pakistan known as Gilgit-Baltistan, most famous for its mountain ranges which had attracted tourists for last decade. I am doing my bachelor’s in international relations from ELTE Budapest Hungary as a scholarship student. My journey from the mountains where we lack basic necessities to the heart of Europe is a great achievement and motivation for me. During this journey, the most appealing side is my social life which has grooms my personality and inner me.

The INPRO volunteering program is a great experience for me where different students belonging to different cultures live as a family in order to understand the advantages of multiculturalism, traditions, different languages, and much more… They say that” the new culture gives you a new life”. So this is what I found in INPRO.

Kamchepa from France

Jaime from Spain

Hi, How are you today? My name is Jaime and I am 20 years old, I’m From the Canary Islands in Spain, yes, the land of Bulls, beaches, and wines.

I was so bored with my routine and I Felt like a Pigeon on a cage. I got lost too far away in Poland to find Myself. Philosophical Issues apart, I love to meet new people and try to understand why they have some bad feelings and how I can help them, I also love personal development because if you are not good with yourself you will hardly make your environment happy. Also for me, the future is content on social media FOR ALL, if you have a company, personal brand, washing machine store, everybody wants to receive presents so why not share it communicating, documenting, creating emotion, and making an impact by talking about what you like most? Growing inside and sharing your learnings, creating creates a lot of happiness.

Meruyert from Kazakchstan

Hej! I am Meruyert, 20 years old, an Aviation student from Kazakhstan, currently studying at the University of International Technology and Management, Rzeszow, Poland.

I am from a country that speaks Kazakh and Russian, uses Cyrillic, and faces the Innovations and preserves historical heritage. And that’s the beauty of my country. From our childhood, we are taught to be respectful to various cultures, traditions, and beliefs. Studying abroad I gained more knowledge of other nations’ values and customs. Also, I learned more about myself by going through different challenges and opportunities.

When I first heard about Inpro from my friends who work and did volunteering there for quite a while, it moved me. The cluster of truly open-minded, bright, strong, diverse people I can meet being among INPRO-ers is profound. I sincerely believe that we can exchange our skills and ideas and make life better.

Berkay from Turkey

Hı , my name is Berkay Can . I’m 23 years old and I’m living in Istanbul, Turkey. I am studying International Trade at Gelisim University in Istanbul. It’s my last year. I have lots of hobbies like playing basketball, cycling, music, collecting. I think that every person must have some hobbies. At least one.

But one for being healthy for both physical and mindset. One for personal development, one for making money but if it’s possible. You have to socialize. Understand the other’s opinions and respect them. Expand your view. Watch lots of movies,  read books, etc. Feed your soul. And be free.

Syed from Pakistan

Hi, I am Waleed Shaheen. I am 25 years old, and I did my Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from NED University, Pakistan, my native land. Currently, I am enrolled as a Laurea Magistrale student at Alma Mater Studiorum Universita di Bologna, Italy.

Times up Team up! INPRO is the first experience of its kind for me to build up my soft skills which will help me integrate in European society and add a premium to my hard engineering skills. I have some amazing friendships here leaving my cultural taboos behind. I think it’s impossible to be part of one society without accepting its basic characteristics. This is how I am having amazing experiences to understand different viewpoints from different lands and different professions here at INPRO. In a nutshell, it helped me build an understanding of European culture, perspectives, and ways of thinking which is otherwise impossible to experience working on plain desks as a Telecommunications Engineer.
