Building Europe today

Building Europe today

Building Europe today is a project of vocational and educational training for high school students and graduates, which made it possible for 12 young people from Portugal to gain experience in companies and institutions from Subcarpathian Province.

During their stay in Poland, young people developed their skills related to photography, multimedia, tourism, and health care.

Depending on the specialization, the training lasted from 1 to 3 months.

The students got to know the work system of Polish institutions, assisted in the implementation of projects and made new contacts. An additional advantage of the training was the fact that English was spoken on a daily basis. This helped not only to overcome shyness but also to overcome the language barrier.

The project was implemented thanks to the Erasmus + program in Action 1. Educational mobility in the Vocational Education and Training sector.

Projects of this type are aimed at supporting the mobility of high school students and graduates, teachers of practical vocational training, managers in educational establishments and employees on the European labor market as well as the implementation of innovative educational solutions.

INPRO’s role was to intermediate and take care of young people participating in the project. We were also responsible for the reception of apprentices, as well as finding companies and institutions ready to accept project participants under their wings.

The project’s participants are students and graduates of the Agrupamento de Escolas de Vilela school, which is also the project coordinator

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the program has been shortened.
