Interested in volunteering in INPRO?

Our organization is accredited to host European volunteers. We usually host 4 volunteers for 6-months – from October till March and from April till September. We also host short-term volunteers (6-8 weeks) within volunteering teams projects. Short-term projects are dedicated ONLY to volunteers with Fewer Opportunities accordingly to the program guide. It means that you will have to explain to us in your application, why you are a person with fewer opportunities. 

SELECTION PROCESS

If you want to know what vacancies we currently have, you should visit the European Solidarity Corps platform. Every call for new volunteers is public and we announce it through the platform. So, if you want to find more information about what vacancies we currently offer, please register on the platform and look for more details there.

Please note, that we receive many applications and we run a careful selection. So, if you want to get accepted for volunteering in our organization, please consider a few tips.

–          before applying, get to know us well by going through our website and social media channels

–          compose a nice and informative application dedicated to our organization

–          be creative – we are happy to review applications which stick out of the crowd

–          show what you are good at and how you can contribute to our work

Please apply by sending your application via the European Solidarity Corps platform. You can apply only if we have an open call on the platform. In your message explain why you are a person with fewer opportunities (if you apply for a short-term project).

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a volunteer, you will be helping us with organizing events, visit schools, do workshops as well as create different media content (videos, pictures, promo materials). We adjust the job description to each volunteer’s preferences and competences.

When you volunteer in our organization, you usually work 30-35h per week, 5 days a week. You also have 2 days off per month, which you can “save for later” and spend a week or two on holidays at the end of your project.

ACCOMMODATION & MONEY ALLOWANCE & TRAVEL

If you come for 6 months, you will be accommodated in 2 rooms flat, sharing a room with another volunteer. You will receive approximately 37 PLN per day as a food allowance and pocket money, as well as you will get a public transportation card for free. We will also reimburse your travel costs, the budget depends on the distance between your place and Rzeszow and it is usually between 180 – 360 EURO.

If you come for 6-8 weeks, you will stay in our hostel, sharing a room with one or two more volunteers. You will receive approximately 37 PLN per day as a food allowance and pocket money. We will also reimburse your travel expenses up to a certain limit.

Youth embracing Change 2021 

The project has been already accepted and will be realized in Rzeszów at the beginning of 2021.

Most of the activities will take place at INPRO’s headquarters.

Volunteers will have a chance to polish their English, learn about new cultures, and work on their own projects.

Youth and the City – summer 2020

Within this project, we will host a group of volunteers for a period of 2 summer months. The goal of the project is to develop interpersonal and intercultural competences and learn how to work in an international team.

Youth and the City (short-term) – ongoing

As part of this project, we host volunteers every two months. The first team joined us in November 2019. Volunteers record films from their stay in Rzeszów, develop their talents, participate in events organized by our association. It is also a chance for them to polish English, learn new cultures and work on their own projects.

United we Shine – ongoing

As part of this project, we host four volunteers twice for a period of six months. The first team joined us in September 2019. Volunteers visit schools, organize events, record films from their stay in Rzeszów and implement their own ideas, including language cafes. They also promote the European Solidarity Corps program, tell stories about their countries and deliver workshops about culture, youth opportunities and volunteering.

The project “Youth and The City” takes place in Rzeszów, Poland. The goal of the project is to develop interpersonal and intercultural competences among young people as well as among organizers of activities – volunteers themselves.

The volunteers are currently organizing their own personal projects, which aims to educate young people about topics such as human rights, grassroots movements and controversial issues. Later this year, the volunteers will visit schools and promote the Erasmus+ program, tell stories about their countries or deliver workshops about culture, human rights, youth opportunities and volunteering.

Youth and Powerful -realized

The project ”Youth and Powerful 2” takes place in Rzeszów, Poland. The volunteers from Turkey is going to be a part of the project for two months. The goal of the project is to develop interpersonal and intercultural connection among young people as well as among organizers of activities – volunteers themselves. From now on, every two months INPRO is going to host two volunteers from Turkey.

The volunteers are currently responsible for the Facebook pages about the voluntary projects in Europe and they share the valid ones to inform the interested people.

Summer Development – realized

The Summer Development project made it possible for Oli from Turkey to spend 6 months in Rzeszów, in the period of December 2017 – May 2018. Oli comes from  Istanbul, and after 6 years of work at different places, he decided to invest in his personal development and take the challenge of EVS volunteering. Oli wanted to meet new people, realize educational projects, and gain valuable experience.

Youth embracing change -realized

The project “Youth embracing change” takes place in Rzeszów, Poland. The goal of the project is to develop interpersonal and intercultural competences among young people as well as among organizers of activities – volunteers themselves. Most of activities within the project takes place in Rzeszów Culture Incubator.

The volunteers are currently organizing weekly events which aim to educate young people about topics such as human rights, grassroots movements and controversial issues. The events also aim to create an international environment and a safe space to exchange ideas, opinions as well as making new friends.

Education for Youth Participation -realized

The main objective of the project was to implement educational initiatives for youth who need to improve their skills in order to become valuable members of the community they are living in. Volunteers participated in various events and activities, but they also had time and space to realize their own ideas and initiatives together with local youngsters. This interaction offered a good occasion for cultural diversity activities with a significant role in anti-discrimination education and more cultural understanding and tolerance.
